Our method

There are many ways to lose weight, but the best approach depends on your individual needs and preferences. Here are some general guidelines that we work with that can help you:

  • Create a calorie deficit: To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. You can create a calorie deficit by reducing your food intake or increasing your physical activity.
  • Eat a balanced diet: Focus on eating whole, nutrient-dense foods that are low in calories but high in fiber, protein, and healthy fats. This can help you feel fuller for longer and reduce cravings.
  • Exercise regularly: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week. This can include walking, jogging, cycling, dancing, tennis, swimming or any other physical activity that you enjoy.
  • Lift weights: lift heavy shit 2-4 times a week for 30-60 minutes. This increases muscle mass, bone density and mental resilience. You’ll feel more confident!
  • Get enough sleep: Lack of sleep can disrupt your hormones and increase your appetite. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night.
  • Manage stress: Stress can trigger emotional eating and make it harder to stick to a healthy diet. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises. Or do something that you consider fun: drawing, gaming, playing board games with friends or reading a book.
  • Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help you feel full and reduce cravings. Aim at a minimum of 2 liters per day.
  • Seek support: Losing body fat can be challenging, so it’s important to have a support system in place. This could include friends, family members, or a professional coach like Max and Dymphy.

Remember, sustainable weight loss takes time and requires a long-term commitment to healthy habits. It’s important to focus on progress, not perfection, and to be patient with yourself along the way.

It’s easy to get distracted or lose motivation. We help you with a step-by-step approach. We keep you accountable and make the process easier with our practical method. And sometimes we tell you just the way it is: it’s tough. But when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!

What’s in it for me?

Losing excess body fat can have many health benefits, including:

  • Reducing the risk of chronic diseases: Excess body fat is associated with a higher risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Losing weight can reduce your risk of these diseases.
  • Improving heart health: Losing weight can lower your blood pressure, reduce your cholesterol levels, and decrease your risk of developing heart disease.
  • Improving mobility and reducing joint pain: Carrying excess body fat can put extra strain on your joints, leading to pain and discomfort. Losing weight can reduce this strain and improve your mobility.
  • Boosting self-confidence: Achieving a healthy weight can improve your self-esteem and confidence, leading to a better quality of life.
  • Improving sleep: Losing weight can reduce snoring and sleep apnea, leading to better sleep quality.
  • Increasing energy and reducing fatigue: Carrying excess body fat can make you feel tired and lethargic. Losing weight can increase your energy levels and reduce fatigue.
  • Improving mental health: Losing weight can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, leading to improved mental health.

Overall, losing excess body fat can have a positive impact on your physical and mental health, improving your quality of life and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
