Our method
We specialise in personal training in Amsterdam for high performers. With our method we help you to be successful in every area of your life, by increasing your energy. Your journey to create a stronger body and mindset will start with an intake. Then you will focus on 1 or 2 subjects at the same time: movement, strength training, nutrition, stress management and communication.
- Intake: goal & intention:
- Where are you now? What would you like to achieve? Why is that important to you? What does that bring you?
- What are the smallest steps to take?
- Let’s find out which order of focus you need. The focus can be on 1 or 2 subjects at once: strength training, nutrition, stress management and communication.
- Week planning: how are you spending your time throughout the week on exercise, work, social and other activities? How active are you during the day?
- Movement: how active are you on a daily base? This includes walking, biking, swimming or an active job.
- Strength training: this is all about showing up to build a habit of lifting weights. We will teach you how to move, which exercises you need to do, what the right intensity, reps, sets and rest is.
- Nutrition: What is “healthy” food? What does your body need? How to plan your nutrition in your week? Meal prep, planning & organisation, goal setting for weight loss or muscle gain.
- Stress management: sleep, relaxation, fun, social. How do you relax? We can practice several tools together like breathing exercises, meditation, dancing, playing games in the gym, etcetera. How well can you keep your focus on 1 thing? How to limit triggers and make some processes in your life more efficient.
- Communication: How well are you able to set boundaries? If you have a partner, how to communicate your needs in fitness, nutrition, sleep and other areas? Dare to share your needs and set boundaries. Listening to yourself and asking others for help. This part is about behavioural change in relationship to your beloved ones.
These blocks are your building blocks to a strong fundament of a healthy life.

About Max

- Max van Schaik is an advanced personal trainer.
- Max is an ex-professional basketball player with over 10 years of experience in the industry.
- He completed the Milo Performance & Education course in 2020 and now uses his past experiences as an athlete to inform his approach to training.
- Max focuses on long-term goals and helps you see that you can achieve more than you think through consistent, fun and varied training. This makes you grow physically and mentally!
About Dymphy

- Dymphy de Jong is a power woman. She has a Master degree in Sociology, is a certified personal trainer and certified coach. Through CrossFit she is part of the top 10 fittest women in the Netherlands.
- She used to be an insecure, chubby girl, but through kickboxing she found her passion for sport at the age of 17. After that she did boot camps, bodybuilding and obstacle races, among other sports.
- She transformed her body tremendously. She went from 30% fat to 15% by consistent hard work. That wasn’t easy, but she know the pitfalls to help you achieve your results more efficiently.
- She is known for her strength, lifting 103 kg above her head, as well as being empathetic and enthusiastic.
- As a high performance personal trainer Dymphy is specialised in coaching balance between achievement and fullfilment.
- Dymphy believes in the power of vulnerability and teaches others how to control their feelings, thoughts and bodies through coaching and physical training.
- She trains high performers: CEOs, models, creative directors, marketing managers, lawyers and entrepreneurs.
- It is her mission to lighten people’s lives by helping them get in touch with their vulnerability and inner strength.

I’ve worked with quite a few personal trainers over the many years. Having worked with Dymphy for the past 3 years I can say that she’s the best I’ve worked with. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, precise and always glowing with positive energy. She combines her love for the body, sports and fitness (being one of NL’s best Crossfit athletes) with a deep interest and understanding of mental states and mindfulness. The training sessions with her are totally full-on when needed but she also knows when it’s better to hold back a bit.

Suddenly I was not able to walk after a cycling accident that happened to me.
My sporting life came to a standstill. I felt uncertain if I could return to this level of fitness again.
After 2 months of rehabilitation I was allowed to train again. I called Dymphy.

I was afraid of getting hurt, so I didn’t dare to jump on a box. We both had tears in our eyes when I was able to do box jump again!
